Yes, we require a booking at least 3 days prior to the date you want to come. Booking within the 3 day limit is subject to staff availability. Superthriller Jet Sprint's venue is not open if there is no booking.

No, this is a time trial challenge with only 1 boat on the course at a time

Events take anywhere from 25 minutes - 4 hours for 2 - 40 people

We recommend that you dress to the conditions however we advise you to bring a light rain jacket, as you may get wet.
You should wear trainers however you can go barefoot, just no jandals.
Sunglasses are great to bring to protect from both the water and sun.
You may also like to bring a change of clothes if you do get wet.

You will get wet but how much will depend on the weather conditions on the day. We advise to bring a jacket and a change of clothes

No seatbelts are required. This has been approved by Maritime New Zealand

Helmets are not required. This has been approved by Maritime New Zealand

Yes we are certified by Maritime New Zealand and they carry out an audit of Superthriller each year.

Before getting in the boat you need to sign a Safety form and go through our staff led briefing.
You are given a practice lap with a staff member as your passenger to familiarise yourself with the boat and how to get around our course correctly.
A staff member will give 1 demo lap per booking to show the customers how to correctly navigate the course.
You then get 3-5 timed laps depending on what event option you purchase with someone from your group as the passenger.

We advise if you have any specific medical condition including breaks or fractures or you suffer from back or neck problems that you do not participate

Sadly if you are pregnant we do not recommend that you drive a Superthriller Jet Sprint

You may bring your camera to Superthriller Jet Sprint however our staff will advise where you are allowed to take photos from.
If you want to take a camera while driving or as a passenger only hands free cameras are allowed.
Staff will be more than happy to take photos or videos for you with your devices while you are driving.

Staff will provide a box for you to safely store your belongings

Our minimum age to both drive and be a passenger is 13 years, they require someone 18 years or older to accompany them in the boat

You must be a minimum height of 145cm (4’9”)

We have no weight limit but you must be able to fit into the boat safely and be able to fit into one of our lifejackets
